Decided to download and play with KeyTable - problem I found was that the package seems incomplete. No CSS, and therefore the demos are all "broken". Not a great start :(
Link I used was the one on this page: http://www.datatables.net/plug-ins/ - it says 1.1.6. Yes, I could wade in and fix up all the misaligned links - and take a guess I need your demo_page.css from datatables etc. but...

As a work around, have a look in the 'extras' directory from the DataTables download. KeyTable is in there, and all the paths are correct for the DataTables distro...
